The Drum Garden offers drum lessons for all abilities from beginners to working pro's.

Our approach to teaching is designed to cover all styles of music and all aspects of playing, based upon practical application and real world playing skills, backed up by thorough knowledge and understanding.

We can build on your playing confidence if you are already playing or give you a strong foundation if your starting out. .

Concepts
Drum lessons cover all aspects of drumming from grooves, vocabulary, reading, styles, phrasing, technique, independence, etc. Learn how to practice the correct way and gauge your own improvement.

Gradings
The gradings are structured to cover beginners to the advanced player. All the grades have qualifications that sit within
the educational framework from NVQ - GCSE - 'A' Level.

Students will be required to play along to CDs supplying the drum parts from written charts, read music, improvise, play technical exercises, sight read and answer several music knowledge questions. The qualifications from the grades are Nationally recognised.
